NDA Standards Documents
"In June 2002 the National Disability Authority (NDA) formally proposed the development of National Standards for Disability Services to the Department of Health and Children. Since then, the NDA and the Department have actively worked in partnership on this project which eventually resulted in the NDA recommending the standards for approval by the Minister of Health and Children in September 2004". NDA Update: In Novemeber 2004 the NDA produced a summary Update on the process of preparing the Standards Document.

Audit Tools
Finally, they prepared Audit Tools to be used in assessing standards. Again, Please NOTE, this is a large document in pdf format and
may take time to download.
Update The Standards Document is currently with the HIQA. There has been no clear indication when it will be implemented. |
